..??? Where did i say that ??Matt Gruber said:So are you saying you made more money? ......Hillhater said:..Another “woke” Myth !....Matt Gruber said:Don't forget Elon invented Paypal ..
Sorry to interrupt your Hero worship, but Musk did not invent PayPal,...nor did he “invent” Tesla.
He came in late on both of those shows !
?? But You have not corrected your false statement about what i said. ?Matt Gruber said:Hill
please go back to the post, you will see i corrected it. then if you want to, delete your responses, and i'll delete mine. fair enough? :thumb:
Matt Gruber said:So are you saying you made more money? what business did you invent?
You are looking less informed with every postrather more mis-informed. sorry to interrupt your path to failure  can't do math, can't look ahead, can't recognize success
doomed to fail 8)
flippy said:average S consumption is 220Wh/km. getting 300 is basically only possible if you break every speeding law in existance. not to mention you need to swap tires every 3 months.
still, your math is still wrong, a Kwh costs 20~22 cents here before taking out the 7 cents of taxes as you can as a buisness. and you ignored the diesel road tax -again-.
No !flippy said:its not about the showroom sticker price, as i have said many times before. if you buy a car for 80k and sell it after 2 years for 40k you are out 40k. if you sell a 120k car and sell it for 80k after 2 years you are still out 40k. so the cars actual cost is exactly the same.
Here is my corrected post. if anyone wants to comment on it, go right ahead. I'll ignore past comments as my post had an error. I would prefer to delete all the faulty posts, but this forum does not have the software. Without good faith cooperation from Hillhater, all his posts remain. He only has to remove the 1 post that sent this off track, to get the ball rolling, to show he/she is a man or woman of integrity. :thumb:Matt Gruber said:How do i define success- in 1 word? Tesla![]()
Any public co. has a responsibility to make money for its' owners. $5k in TSLA 10 years ago is now worth over 100KTruly astonishing.
Too bad i didn't catch on and buy some stock. My mistake? i was looking at the BIG losses and could not see how tsla would ever make money. I failed to account for the "change the world" philosophy of shareholders
I'm sure tsla is ahead 1-2 BILLION on the bitcoin- another "change the world" crazy idea
Don't forget Elon sold very successful Paypal which now has 336 million customers. He has the track record of the century. success = Elon Musk

As in Tesla is in the carbon credit BUSY-MESS to support their electric car HOBBY.

OK, so you want to shift the goal posts again , and change the numbers..fine...lets recalculate
Diesel still at the €7.50 /100km
Tesla @220Wh/km , and €0.22/kWh.. =..€4.84... or €0.0266c/km less tham the BMW. ( ignoring your corporate tax recovery !)
We went over the real effect of depreciation a few posts back...have you forgotten ?
In USD over 3 years Tesla depreciates 39% = $35,000. (From $89,990 list
.....BMW depreciated 40% (~same ?) = $22,000..from $54,000 list
So the Tesla costs an extra $13,000 in Depreciation !
On a standard 16,000km/yr lease that is equivalent to $0.27 / km more than the BMW !
But , the guys who really have to understand these costs are the Lease companies who have it all worked out and it shows in their charges ( as previously stated !)
Tesla S monthly lease cost US$1,117.00
BMW 5 monthly lease cost US$ 716.00
Thats a US$400 difference ... which just happens to be about $0.30/km on that 48,000km standard lease terms !
I still am not seeing these “Huge” savings fron the Tesla ?
..Just common sense ...try it some time !
Your maths is focused on your local CORPORATE ownership, rather than private buyers generally.flippy said:my premise is that if my math was correct tesla would not sell a single car. but they sell every single car they can produce, so is my math correct?
Nice catch, thats just Matt Grubers style, I dont mind it. Just means in a sense we gotta pay attention to the title.( i notice the Comment title has been subtly changed to be. “EUROPE” !!
markz said:I saw two Telsa's today within 100' on my way to get food. Have they fixed the cold weather problem with electric vehicles, Rich Rebuilds was saying you turn on the heater in the car it just chugs juice from batteries. So owners must be garaging their cars at home and at the office.

Why do some posts have the new title and others dont.
