Hey BigBlock,

beautiful pictures (and bike) as always. I just put together a bike with a dual crown fork. I love the way it looks but how do you feel about the restricted movement of the fork tubing bumping into your frame?

I got a reasonable turning angle. Similar to an offroad bike. Just a couple of degree less. You feel it only in very low speed and technical sections. But because it is very light you can easily raise the front wheel to turn more

my frame has super limited steering angle but it's not an issue at all during actual off-road riding. and when i need to do a u-turn i just skid turn instead, super easy to do on these lightweight bikes even on asphalt

this is some awe-inspiring design you've got going on there. I'm also impressed with your solidworks skills too and the FEA. CAD CAM is my bread and butter i do it all day every day. ive got a shop with 23 spindles here, 12 mills and 10 lathes.

would you consider selling or open-sourcing the assembly?

BTW im completely agree with the price of aluminum in the EU at the moment. some of out UK stockists are almost auctioning it off!

This e-motorcycle is certainly a well thought build from scratch.

However, the OP title contains the word “ebike”. The vehicle was not made from a bicycle nor does it have pedals, hence it is not an ebike.

This e-motorcycle build/posting by the current rules of this forum belongs in the section Electric Scooters/Motorcycles.

All the Sur Ron material and likes was moved from Electric Bicycles to Electric Scooters/Motorcycles because these vehicles come without pedals and were not made from a bicycle.

So, I do not understand why this build remains in the ebike stories.
