Hi all
Hoping someone can help me, I've got a Kristall V20 fat bike, similar to the Cmacewheel V20 with the YL91F'-V display, now I've seen this display with 9 PAS levels and the ability to change the power output ratios of each level of assistance, now my display has a maximum of 5 levels only which is fine but there is no sub P3 menu to change the ratio as in the 9 level settings. Seeing how these are identical displays why can't I access the ratio settings and the extra PAS levels, are there two models of the same display? I assume the controller has no bearing on this as it take its commands from the display settings?

Display firmware is often written to provide certain features and exclude others, and specifically programmed based on what the ebike manufacturer desires for factory e-bikes. They are also most often controller manufacturer specific (work with only one controller manufacturer). Also, you won’t have features that one or the other doesn’t support (e.g. if there are regen settings, the controller also has to support regen for regen to work).
