Hy there

so this is my first real post in this forum and hope you like my creation.

I bought an old Zappy scooter from an auction for just a few bucks. The aim
was to fit new gear in (motors, batteries, charger etc)

And here it is:

on the left side you see a small button to power on the scooter

on the other side is a power cord which is directly connected with the built in charger to charge the battery.
So just plug it in and it charges. No need to take the battery out or to carry a charger with you!!!!

Those two small LEDs on the right side of the ".ch" show the charging status of the battery once a red and green LED is lit the battery is full

Here you can see the inside of the scooter. On the top the battery on the bottom the charger and on the left side the power cord
which is spring loaded so it sucks the cable in once you push the button like in the vacuum cleaner.

last but not least the touch display which shows all the relevant infos you need

What is inside:
- Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 6364-213kv
- TURNIGY Sentilon100A HV 5-12S BESC
- a custom made batterie with Sony us18650vtc4 Konions 10s5p 10Ah.
- 5A charger
- fluoresce floor light (looks great in the dark)

- head and front light (can be switched on or off by the display)

I limited the speed electronically (in the code) so now it drives "only" 40km/h (25mph) max.
But it could do 60 or more, but this is way too fast!!!

So what do you think?

Thx
Andy

Nice little machine. I saw the little red wire on the perimeter. What kind of light is that? It looks like you can bend it in any shape.

Care to share how you created your battery pack?
I used some hot glue to glue the battery ion shape

And then I use desoldering wick to make the connections
