hello,

just got a zero fx 5.7 from a friend which has no more 12V power, bike rides still good and the dash is working too, but all the 12V supply is missing

had anybody the same trouble?

wanted to remove the DC/DC now to check it, is there any fuse between the batteries and the DC/DC? have not found it yet

hi,

just removed the DC/DC, it is a sevcon 300watt 5pin:

Does anybody has the wiring diagramm from the zero?
I have no connection between bat+ and + from the dc dc, but have not found any fuses yet.

The fuse center listed in the manual on page 5.26:
http://media.zeromotorcycles.com/resources/owners-manuals/2014/2014-Zero-Owners-Manual-FX.pdf

is not present on the bike... ? Just found one 125V 10A fuse in the loom.

Thanks!
Best regards
Christian

I'm surprised the bike still runs with a faulty DC/DC as the controller needs a 12 V supply in order to function...

The DC/DC is still working and the 4A fuse is still ok.

So anything else should be wrong. May be it is the little black box under the front battery, but without a wiring diagram it is s*** to work on.

Not sure how helpful this is, but there's a wiring diagram for a 2013 S in this thread http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=3603.0

2013 and 2014 is different.

Anyway, I solved the problem.

Zero sent me some pics which show the positions of the fuses in the loom.

C7 for the DC/DC was not on the front/left side below the front battery, it was in the loom between the batteries.
