Clarification on Id, Vd FOC

The question is on FOC, when we are running the FOC without flux weakening then Iq = Torque component and Id = flux component, we have to keep Id=0 to produce maximum torque, does it also mean that Vd is also zero?

No, Vd won't be zero because the motor is inductive and there are cross coupled components to the ds and qs.

The cross coupling is V = jwLdId and jwLqIq in the orthogonal respective frames.
