**WHEN I RECEIVED THIS UNIT WITHIN THE FIRST 3 MILES THE FRONT WHEEL BECAME LOOSE. BOTH AXEL NUTS COULD BE SPUN BY HAND. THE LEFT SIDE REAR AXEL NUT COULD BE SPUN BY HAND. I CHECKED EVERY BOLT AFTER THIS HAPPENED. THE TOP TREE CLAMP ON THE FORKS WAS BARELY ON. ALL OF THE TREE CLAMPS ON THE TUBES HOLDING THE BARS ARE BARELY TIGHT. ONE OF THE BOLTS HOLDING THE HEADSET TUBE WAS LOOSE. **

I received my Z4pro a few days back. I bought it on Amazon. I have clocked about 200 miles on it so far. I am breaking it in for Delivery duty. The box delivered in good condition. The scooter delivered in good visual condition.

Issues I had out of the box:
-LOOSE FRONT AND REAR WHEEL IN THE FIRST 10 MILES.**Fixed omg wt..
-LOOSE TREE CLAMP BOLTS ALL OVER THE PLACE.**Fixed
-LOOSE HEADSET TUBE BOLT.**Fixed
-THE FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION HAVE ZERO DAMPENING AT ALL. NONE. NADA. ZILCH....ALL SPRING. Its like riding a pogo stick with wheels.**Working on it
-The battery door has no seal. Its open to the elements. Dirt from your feet and water can freely enter the battery box. Its PG rating is NADA.**Working on it
-Know issue with the battery shaking inside the box. **Fixed
-When the forks go to full extension they smash on a metal stop. Its loud and it happens ALL THE TIME. Common with cheap bin scooter forks. They will 100% destroy themselves in no time. The closest 2 dealers told me they all do it. I am sourcing better forks currently. Wish me luck!**Working on it
-It shipped with a short twist throttle. Why anyone would install a twist grip throttle of any kind on a scooter blows my mind.*Working on it
-Breaks not set up correctly. Super common but still had to be fixed.**Fixed
-3 power modes = 2 with nothing and all gas from 80% to 100% and sport mode being more linear.
-Break line is rubbing the headset tub.**Fixed
-Extended all the way, the bar height is way to low for anyone over 5ft 10. I had to install a set of rider bars.


Positive stuffs:
-Plenty of spring, maybee to much for a 235# rider. Way to much for the 165# rider who cruises hyper scooters who rode it. Like WAY to much lol. The spring rate will handle adding a seat and delivery rack without issue imo.
-More then enough power. In single and dual motor mode it performs fantastic. Tons of torque. 230# standing all the way forward and the front tire screeches on take off easily. Given the box type frame I cant imagine giving this thing more power then it has.
-13 inch tires are very stable for a scooter. The tread pattern is fantastic for a vehicle that lives on gravel roads and dirty shoulders these tires are great. They are loud but I cant hear squad with my helmet on anyways
-The brakes are insanely grippy. Stopping power is many times what it needs to be. I can monkey grip the brakes and lock up both wheels no problem on pavement at any speed. It has DOT3 fluid breaks!
-The lights are great. The headlights are very bright. The break lights are tiny but bright. The blinkers are well done and easy to see. The side bar lights pretty bright. You can never say "I didnt see you.". Its impossible. The thing looks like a UFO going down the street. The lights are so over the top everyone is looking at me instead of the road.
-The kick stand is not bad. All metal. Good return spring rate.
-Adjustable handle bar high.

Battery Range with a 230# 6ft 1 inch tall rider:
-Unit has 3 power modes and 3 gears. Gear 1 has a speed limit of 18mph.
-In Eco mode in gear 1 with both motors on I was able to get about 25 miles of range with a 230# rider and still had 20% battery left over. Lots of starts and stops. Frequently giving it the beans. Long sections of fairly loose sand. Lots of slow technical stuff with stop and go.
-In Eco mode, single motor in gear 1 on the street taking it easy off the line with an average speed of 15 mph on pretty flat roads the unit went flat in 34 miles.

My Review:

The assembly was absolute trash. I mean WHO THE HELL IS PUTTING THESE THINGS TOGETHER? FIRE THAT GUY AND THEN FIRE THE GUY WORKING NEXT TO HIM. FIGURE IT OUT. I am an industrial tech/mechanic who has teched thousands of machines for more then 25 years and this is without a doubt the absolute most unsafe unit I have ever seen out of the box. I have seen so many quality issues from China over the years in the e-vehicle realm. Thats an old hat but this is HUMAN error. Sure the unit has some material problems but its also a 2200$ bin scooter so you get bin scooter problems like the suspension. It has 13 inch tires. Its super stable for a stand up scooter. The controls are above average for a bin scooter. Great power.

=Would I buy it again? Nope! By the time I fix the suspension Its going to be a 3k+$ scooter. I still have to figure out a seat and rack. The factory seat option blocks the battery door and is a non starter so I will have to build my own. While I absolutely cant say enough good things about the 13 inch tires I could have gone with a premium 11 or 12 inch tire scooter for what its going to cost me to make this one ready for delivery duty. It is NOT SAFE to leave this unit in any amount of rain. The battery compartment is open to the electrons. The battery door does not seal. Its a tub with no drain. It will be a rolling bathtub in seconds. Way to much bullsnot for 2200$. Last product I buy from this company. The unit was so unsafe.

Amazon is supposed to have a good return policy. I would have returned it as defective and dangerous. Does the owners manual state to tighten the fasteners first before riding? Usually shipped bicycles require some assembly/adjustment/tuning/tightening. Not sure about scooters.

I was surprised when my scooter phone app displayed a reminder at 200 miles advising me to check all fasteners for tightness. I’m at around 350 now, so I’m wondering if it will be providing additional reminders. It was a good riming since the miles can go by quickly.

So 480 miles on my bike computer(not the controller)
-I had to reprogram the display. The unit was not set up at all for the tire size. It was off by 4mph at 20 mph.
-The front brake rotor is warped badly.
-The EBS(electric brake system) has been set to 0(off). At 1 you cant even tell its on. At 2 you cant tell its on until you reach under 6mph-ish then it hard brakes randomly. Very dangerous behavior. Any setting 3 or above amplifies this and makes the scooter so unsafe. Impossible to ride standing up. You are always in fear of the EBS kicking it and putting you over the bars.
-The throttle is failing. It has a dead spot now. It frequently cuts out in this dead spot. You could be cruising for a mile and it will randomly cut out and on again. VERY high danger if you are standing. Trying to pull out into traffic and having the throttle cut out violently can be life ending. Teewing dealers are telling me there is no replacement they can sell me that is not the oem as every throttle they have tried has been rejected by the display. So I am stuck with a dangerous twist throttle that cuts out or risk ruining the display trying to get a aftermarket throttle to work with this unit.
-The front forks have gotten even looser. It was a pogo stick before. Now the springs are so soft its less of a pogo stick and more mushy. It dives when braking and goes to full extension when picking up speed. Total failure. Combine that with some hard braking and this thing wants to eject you over the bars badly.
-The front right side wheel bearing is on its way out. The rear wheel bearings are near the end of life... Both wheels have enough lateral play to make any mechanic replace all the bearings.
-The brakes are weeping fluid. I have had to refill them 2 times so far These brakes while are DOT fluid weep more fluid naturally then any set of chinese mineral oil brakes I have ever used.

***The tires:
-At first I liked the tires. They paddle well in loose material. Then as I became more comfortable on the unit I started taking turns at a more reasonable pace. The tread pattern has great grip for stopping and taking off in loose material. However... it is not broken up in any way that provides any traction when turning. Sooooooo I have had a few really bad slides that really supprised me. Its an offroad tire so sure it has less grip then most street treads but it has zero grip in any turn that is not 100% sticky pavement. Buyer beware!


**DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT. It is more fined then say the orbarter clones but you will spend big $$ making it safe. No Teewing dealer around me will touch it. I will have to do all the warranty repairs myself and deal directly with Teewing. I have been commuting on this semi regularly. The vast majority of the miles are an easy commute at about 18 mph eating about 70% round trip. This thing is not going off road anymore ever. I am not beating on it. I am not hard braking. I would say at 500 miles or so this thing needs major service that will cost anyone who is not a mechanic hundreds of $. If you count the suspension failure you are pushing into the 1000usd range easily. Thats over 3200$ and I have not even gotten a second battery yet.

**Edit 9-1-26**
Throttle issues:
-Now not does the throttle have a dead spot between 40 and 60% it now cuts out at 80-100%. It does this in gear one, 2 and 3 and in all power modes. I can jiggle the throttle when it cuts out in the mid range and it violently goes on and off but at the end of the throttle it strait cuts out and will not work until I bring the throttle down below 80ish%. Of course I found this out in trying to join a 4 lane road with no shoulder.. This feels to me like a hardware issue beyond the throttle. After talking to the closest 2 dealers they both told me that the unit cutting out under power is a well documented problem that usually results in a long fight to get new controllers.... Wish me luck.

I have had to remove every single bolt from the machine, clean them, and thread lock them. The sheer amount of loose fasteners and lack of thread locker is mind boggling on a unit that does over 50mph. It came with the wrong manual too.

Hi Guys - I have the same scooter and have not had any problems. One thing that I didn't notice, and I need to ask you, was your scooter shipped from the West Coast or the East Coast. Depending on your reply, I think I know why this happened to you.

Always purchase the Asurion insurance policy for 16.99 a month. It's literally free insurance, they pay out their claims and it's retroactive. Look into it and you'll see what I'm talking about. It is definitely worth its weight in gold and I can give you more information about two claims that I put in and I got money back right away
