Fender washers

Would anyone know a source for fender washers that fit over the kingpins on an HP gecko? I would like to raise my fenders just a tiny bit. The Gecko fender mount goes around the cylindrical kingpin and under the stem/bolt. It's a pretty wide diameter and all the ones I see online seem to be for standard forks. Any suggestions or leads appreciated.

Most/many hardware stores have a decent selection of fender washers. What size do you need?

Fender mounts like these? Dimensions would be helpful.

Looking closer, I see the 4 upper fender mounting holes appear to be slotted....

That's it. I need the wide open center with a narrow lip to go around the kingpin. It's hard for me to get to a hardware store (disabled) so prefer to order online if I can confirm what i need. The only tape measure i have is a fabric sewing style. Yeah, I know, I'm lame, lol.

Let's first establish whether or not your fenders have the four slotted holes (in each fender) I referred to in the second (lower) image.

If you do, simply loosen the screws and see if you can adjust the offending fender. Have you tried that yet?

Yup. I am running big ben plus on fenders that were made to max at big apples. I've got them adjusted so they fit at the max of the slots, just barely enough room. But i would like to raise them a cm or so so I can also attach. the rubber trim on the side I lay own for folding the trike. And I'm only inflating to 35psi, so that might be a bit limiting.

McMaster-Carr What they list as oversize washers is what I think of as fender washers. There are other possibilities offered. Happy hunting.
Looks like everything metal with a big enough ID also has a large OD. Ideally I need a wide ID and narrow OD in metal. Thanks, though, I will keep looking thru their options.

Vice grips and a drill bit.

Without seeing the trike, I'm hesitant recommending tampering with the headset. If you decided to install a spacer, I suggest trying "threadless headset spacers". Available in a variety of thicknesses at your local bike shop (but probably also available online). But you'll need to know the diameter to be sure. I'm guessing 1-1/8" (28.575mm) ID

I believe they are referring to the four slotted holes in the fenders I mentioned previously.....

Yes I have the slotted holes adjusted to the maximum height. It's just barely enough for my admittedly oversized tires. I can live with it the way it is but the fenders come with rubber strips that go on the outboard side along the rim of the fender. This is so you protect the fender if you tip it on the side to fold it (I cannot do the lift in the air method, too small and wimpy). I'd like to put them on but need another cm or so to make it clear well enough. If I can't find the right spacers, I'll just take off my ventisit pad and put it on the ground under the wheel when I tip it. Not quite as convenient but workable.

BINGO!!! That's what I needed, the actual name to search. I'll do my best to measure the ID and they are inexpensive enough I can order a couple different sizes to be sure. THANK YOU!
