18650 with screw terminals

Hi

I remember stumbling across 18650 cells that had screw threads for easy attackment of cable/metal plates to make your own battery packs. I can now not for the life of me remember the search term or find said cells.

Anyone have any ideas where to find them and if they are any good?

The only cylindrical cells I can recall seeing with threaded terminals are Headways.

It's possible they exist somewhere, but certainly not common ( I have never seen an 18650 with threaded terminals) .
A123, used to offer some of their cells with screw terminals, but never 18650's.
Special order maybe ?

I've never seen an 18650 with threads. I think you're most likely thinking of Headway 38140.

I think you are right, i must have seen the headways. Way too expensive though compared to 18650s
