20x lithium capacity by 2012?

They are saying 20x discharge rate over current lithium ion batteries. Which means it's roughly equivalent to the A123 chemistry. They don't say what it's energy density is, and like A123 it's probably less than current LiPo. Because of the way it's worded and what little real information it contains It's just a marketing PR piece and probably means very little.

dam. well said. lithium is still 888x less dense than plutonium ;)

Plutonium!!!! 8)

My common sense says ev's need batteries with thicker, heavier lead, like the forklift batts 1/2 inch plates. Great for starters though. I bet that Mr fusion sure makes strong coffee.

They line nuclear warheads with Cobalt. Imagine taking the current Li-on batteries which have a tendency to blow up
and making them 20 x more potent ? You better have a blast shield between you and the batteries and even then the
force would probably launch your ass into space
