50$ Amazon controller

We
Anybody running one of these multi volt self learning controllers, do you have to do the learning process if switching to a different voltage battery or can I go back and forth without having to do it.
After using a 52 and 48 volt battery and swapping motors you do have to do the learning process every time you change voltage, kind of a bummer.

I see in some ads on AliExpress for this controller they seem to indicate that if you have a certain display you can adjust settings but finding which display it actually is, is the problem.

I have 2 of those controllers, so I would really like to know how to get into a setup.
It was like hold the brake activate the throttle 3 times and then a menu pops up . But no name or part number of which display can do this. This controller has similar hardware as the vesc controller maybe some computer geek can figure it out.

Thanks,
I always ran it in sine, tried Square only shortly.
No idea how the controller will behave with another motor after you mod
I just got one of these. It’s my third controller on my go fast bike. It has a lot of speed potential, I’m using a 52v 20ah capable of 50 amps and running no accessories with this setup pushing a 3000 watt 245 series hub. It takes a while to get up to full speed with this giant motor but I’m having no problem with 40 - 45. im curious about the ”hall sensor” and “Phase sensor” wires. Anybody know what Theyre for?

On the packaging for mine somewhere or maybe the info Amazon had listed There was reference to a “JS BULL MFG” or something along those lines. I Saw some videos about some really fast scooters a few years back called the K4 Bull. 🤔

Do the speed settings on this act like true "gears" with regard to speed control, or is it just a variable governor? With my Citycoco CP-3, the same angular deflection of the throttle yields the same speed, regardless of speed setting, unless it exceeds the max speed for that setting. I'm looking for something that has finer control at lower speed settings. For example, if the speed settings are equivalent to 33, 66, and 100% of max, then the same rotation angle at low speed should yield approximately1/3 the speed you get at high speed. If this one won't, is there a recommended controller that can?

The three speed switch is just amps on 1 and 2 on 3 it actually goes into a field weakening mode that allows higher top speed on flat terrain and downhill but uses higher amps so I don't believe it's very efficient when using that one.

Did anyone chime in on what display they were using on this? Its weird that controllers are almost tied to proprietary displays. I liked the simple round display, finger throttle on my Fluid freeride Horizon scooter. And plenty of P-settings with a 2 button press.

how does this thing have regen braking? I looked at the amazon link and the image just has the usual ridiculously translated image with the wires labeled (although at least throttle isn't something like "handle")

by regen, are you talking about basically an additional throttle that E brakes when applied, or is this just something that automatically happens when one of the brake cut-out switches is used?

They now sell blue tooth version. I am pretty happy with the settings that came on the one I have, so won't be in hurry to try this but if someone gets one post up what is actually adjustable.
I just found this on AliExpress:
50A Bluetooth Electric Bike Controller 48V/60V/72V E-bike Brushless Motor Controller E-ABS Reverse Speed Control Anti-theft
