good day to you all I knew here to The forum and thank you for having me.
I come to the forum asking for help or guidance in the direction of a downgrade due to my warranty inquiry and sellers of my electric scooter.
initial 60 volt 2000 Watt X7 golf scooter. controller blue inquired for a new one and received a 60 volt 1500 watt intelligence Sine wave controller.
and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to wire this guy please help.
Som questions and pointers first: is the burn mark on the old controller, or the new one?
Note that wrapping a controller up in insulation (like plastic tape, etc) prevents it from letting heat out, and can cause it to fail dramatically. If that's the new controller in the tape, I highly recommend removing it before using it, so that just the bare metal case and fins are showing, so it can shed heat as designed.
To determine wiring, it would help if you can provide clear pictures of first the old controller's wiring and connectors, and label them clearly with what they connect to on your scooter.
Then provide similar pictures of the new controller's wiring and connectors.
Then we can make some guesses (no certainties) of which is equivalent between the two, and which ones you can ignore or leave unconnected, etc.
The ones you've posted so far are a start, but don't show us what functions each of the old controller's connectors performed on the scooter, so we don't know which ones on the new controller will be required.
Note that if the current limit of the new controller is lower than the original, it will not be able to get your scooter started up from a stop as quickly or easily, and the same applies to going up hills. It will probably still reach the same speeds, but not if they require more power to do this than the new one can make.
If the limit is the same as the original, then the controller may be unable to sustain that under high loads, either shutting down, rolling back power, or failing, because of the lower power rating. You won't know until you test it for which of those will happen, if any.
