I have been dying to put my setup on a 22" Pennyboard (replica) and finally pulled the trigger and made it happen.
Don't mind the zip-ties
The motor would only fit facing the rear because of clearance issues.
I thought this would be an awesome idea, to have a more compact board to carry around. I was wrong, this is like strapping your feet to a rocket. The turning radius is pretty horrible, and overall just a pretty bad experience. Things that may make this work better: Less power....shorter wheelbase...smaller wheels.
Thought I'd post if anyone was thinking about trying it out
