Hi everyone,i'm kind of new in this EV world and working on a project at the moment,so i got a question.

Which data has the highest impact when it comes to low-cost energy on an EV car ? We are working with AMP20 LiFePO4 cells atm but we can change it if we can save more energy from another battery technology. We are going to build a 3kw battery, but the main thing for us is it should cost less watt per hour.

I will be glad if you can help me.Just need to know how can i improve our energy cost.I dont need a straight answer at all, just some information that i can use on it.If the topic is at wrong place,or out of rules, sorry for that.

Have a good day !

You'll simply have to look around at vendors you can buy from (locally or worldwide, depending on yoru options, keeping in mind shipping costs may be very high) and see what the lowest cost cells you can get are that meet the needs of the vehicle you are building, vs the expected useful lifespan of the vehicle, vs the minimum range you need out of it.

If you're using just about any Lithium chemistry commonly available for EVs, you've already got an efficient enough chemistry (almost every bit of charge going in is avaialble for discharging, unlike Nickel or Lead chemistries).
