Now there's a coincidence I just logged on to Endless Sphere to start a thread asking if anyone could recommend a good small hub motor for a bottom bracket drive. Imagine my surprise when the first thread I open is full of pictures of bottom bracket drives using hub motors

I already have a bottom bracket drive that uses a MY1018 motor with your own freewheeling shaft adapter. It's still working very well after a year and a half or so, and pulls away surprisingly fast from traffic lights for such a small motor. The only downside is the bloody awful noise it makes, hence my search for a quieter alternative. I'll start up a new thread anyway to avoid hijacking Timma's project. If you are going for modular, it would be nice to see a bb drive to fit a G-Con Standard interface
