Anybody think adding water cooling to controller will increase range?

So, I heard heat causes power consumption to be higher. My kt controller gets pretty warm while riding and doesn't see any airflow. I have a extra cpu water cooling heat exchanger and radiator since I replaced it with a different one after the internal water pump broke. I was thinking of attaching it to my controller and buying a external water pump for $13. It uses 4.8 Watts.
Anybody think this is worth doing and will make a difference?

Direct air cooling with a 12v radiator fan cherry picked off an old dirtbike has worked for me.

Reduced operating temps by a solid 40 degrees. Hot summer days would sometimes put controller (KLS7230S) into thermal protection mode, not anymore.

Water cooling should have a similar effect but I would assume the efficiency/weight of a water pump/radiator would be less than that of direct air cooling, not to mention the extra complications of a compound cooling system.
