Are M620 and M600 mounts the same?

Can an M620 be mounted on a frame intended for an M600?

Probably a dumb question, but I see some frames on offer which seems to accommodate either motor. Perhaps just ignorant sellers.

AFAICT they're different hangers; an image search for the two mounts finds this
which says
"Bafang Ultra G510 motor hanger; Original Bafang Ultra M620 mounting cradle.
Bafang M600 /M500 /M510 alloy hanger. M600, M510 and M500 shares the same hanger; There are two types hangers for M600/ M510/ M500 motors, please double check before ordering."
and the 620 mount is a completely separate item in their dropdown.

Images of the two systems look pretty different too

Thank you, that's what I expected actually.

Just seems almost impossible to find a hardtail m620-compatible frame. Even FS options are nearly all Carbon. I guess it's Titanium.

You know you can "disable" the suspension, if you just don't want the suspension itself. If the shock has a lockout you can use that, or you can replace the shock with a dummy or bolt support bars in it's place, etc.

If the shock and mounting is in the way of what you want to do with it, you could make a clamp-on mount to whatever tube on the frame is closest to the swingarm shock mounts, and bolt the support bars there.

Yes, I get that. I lock out my Ibex, and it's not horrible. Still paying for, and transporting, something I don't want or need, but it's not really a HUGE deal-breaker.

But even accepting a FS frame, I'm still struggling to find a 'Not Carbon' frame for that motor. That's actually why I asked about M600 vs M620 -- seems like there are more M600 frames on offer.

But I appreciate the input, thanks.
