Battery Replacement

I have an Aerobic Cruiser probably 15 years old and the battery needs to be replaced. The battery is listed as K2 Energy LiFePo 12s10p as a 36V 29Ah pack. I am pretty sure it was custom made by K2 in the day specifically for this bike and I suspect that there is some embedded programming. Can someone recommend either (1) a replacement source, or (2) a company that might be able to rebuild it with new cells. It is a bit tricky. Most companies won't risk a rebuild on a dedicated product like this.

How does the battery fit to the bike? From what I saw it seems there is plenty of space for the battery. Can you post a picture of the battery sitting in that space. I think you also won't need a 10p pack. 6p can get you to 30 ah.

This thread
has some detail about the bike. It uses a BAC1000 by ASI for a controller, so unless they made some custom setup for it, it's a "standard" controller that you could use "any" battery with, that is of the correct voltage range and can supply sufficient current, and has enough capacity for your needs (and that fits in the available space).

I don't know if there is anything electronic inside the actual battery beyond it's own BMS, which would be (should be) designed to protect that specific cell/chemistry, etc.

This shows the inside of the pack area

A person who is battery knowledgeable advised me that any 36V battery could be substituted for my old battery and the wiring could be soldered in. Is this feasible or advisable?
