Title says it all.

This is my first build, and while it seems to mostly be coming together, one thing I'm noticing is that there seems to be a fair amount of "drag" on the pedals in unpowered mode... quite a bit more than a regular bike bottom bracket.

Is this normal / to be expected, or is there an issue with my unit?

Thanks. That's what I was hoping.

Was dreading the prospect of doing a teardown already on it, or shipping it back to china :)

With the chain off the chainring, I can get it to spin about 4.5 times backwards (ratchet clicking), and maybe 1 - 1.5 revolutions forward.

I do also notice a bit of a click sound (one click per revolution) when I hand crank it. Thoughts? Bearing noise?

I am having a problem with the power to my bbs02 shutting off. Frankly, I generally don't, immediately, notice that it has happened. Unless I am going uphill, or into the wind, it still pedals easy.

Maybe the user accessible speed limit is set too low in your display settings. Failing that, a programming cable and tweak of the main program settings will sort that out.

If you turn the pedals, either by hand or out riding, and you do not keep up with the speed of the motor, then you will hear the sprag type clutch clicking within the final drive assembly. Nothing to worry about, I get it when I'm ghost pedaling lol.

Yep, looks like you're correct. I've driven it about 100 miles so far, and it does seem to be quite a bit looser.
