I’m working on a tandem setup with a BBS02 mounted in the stoker position. The motor has a 165 mm spindle, but unfortunately the sync chainline isn’t quite where I’d like it to be.
I’m wondering if anyone has found a way to use a longer/wider spindle with a 68 mm square-taper bottom bracket. I don’t need a perfectly straight chainline—something around 145 mm might be enough and would only give me about a 10 mm offset.
Has anyone experimented with this kind of setup? I’d appreciate any advice on compatible spindles or bottom brackets that might work.
