I'm currently putting together a fat bike build using the 2016 Norco Bigfoot 6.3

I got the Mighty Mini chainring and noticed that in the granny gear the chainline is pretty crooked.

1. How much is too much in terms of the chain line?
2. Is there anything I can do besides changing chainrings?
3. Is it going to have a bad effect on the chain or chainring?

I put some weight on it and it feels kinda crunchy/noisy on the chaining under load. The granny is like 36T I think

What hills are you climbing that warrants using the Mighty Mini?

I'm using an improved offset 42T chainring on a BBS02 at 48v 25A and there is no hill I can't climb. The chainline looks pretty bad, and I think the only way to go would be the Luna 42T, which will have a much better offset than the Mighty Mini.

That offset is really bad. I wouldn't ride it. I had to return Luna 42t because offset was bad also (for a different bike). I think it's crazy people are cutting down their bottom brackets. Who would buy your bike when you sell it?

Maybe u can get eclipse and bigger sprocket in rear.

i also have 42t lekkie for my bbs02, its perfecto!

I have a 28T úp front and a 46T in the rear on my BBS02, that is really nice and efficient for climbing!

You can easily grind out 5mm of the BBSHD GEARCOVER, to improve the Chainline. If that is not enough you can open the gearcover and fill up the spot you Need to grind with 2K epoxy from the inside. That way you can grind out 10-15mm and move the motor way more in.
