Seems like some BBSHD batches have no play in needle bearing at all while others have more.
After replacing the needle bearing with SKF and using new spare axle there is more play than even before for some reason.
Not a credible source but according to chatGTP SKF needle bearings can wear out machined axle faster than some of the Chinese bearings due to mismatched hardness.
I thought all general purpose standard needle bearings are supposed to be the same hardness for interchangeability.
