BMS signalab chip flat lining

P- goes to the controller. If you have nothing there, the bms has turned it off due to over current (probably not the case) or a cell had dropped below the low voltage cutoff.

Do you have all the little wires connected to each individual cell and the connector plugged in to the bms board? If that's not connected right you won't get an output.

discharging of battery for first time. skipped the p- and went to the neg lead of the pack. using a film projector bulb. drawing 5 amps an hr. pack is a 48v 20amp. Down to 47v. how far down do i discharge pack? Thanks

What battery do you have? Lifepo4? Are you monitoring the individual cells? You can ruin the cell if you discharge it too far.

Someone else will have to tell you what to stop at for breaking the pack in, but don't let any one cell go below 2.5v if it's lifepo4.

No the point is to charge and balance your battery. So don't get to heavy handed with the discharge. But see if it will balance better. And try to fill it up.

I love those boxes of nails above your battery please don't move or touch them if the box of falls on your batter you will be that little flame on boy in the picture you like so well......? CLUE

all leads lit. those cells return to 4.1. Why?
Thanks for asking. this is my 3rd BMS and would say Signalab is great compared to the 2, I purchased that were original BMS's for the battery which I believe you said was V Power. Does not get hot and balance so far is equal all around except for wire 15 it returns to 4.1-4-2? Do not why why.
Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving.

Hay I think that string of cells may have gotten to hot because you didn't make sure all sense wires were counnected. I think Dmnun told you to take that step. And with the charger going to 61v it hit that cell to 4.4v and my have cause some damage, but I think this cells may be stronger than mine. But is hard to go back. I hit my cell which 4.2v it worked but was always high or low and trip the pack early low volt 2.5v or so on the bms. I'm only throwing this out so I can hear something back.
