Hi Guys,

I'm trying to understand why I'm not getting any life out of my Brushless motor once hooked up to it's controller.

I've been diagnosing the controller and motor with an Ebike test kit,
The throttle works as seems to be powering the 5v throttle indicator
The motor test seemed okay - tested the phase lines / hall sensors using the kit. Phase line indicators lit up when the motor span, hall sensors lit up in a consistent pattern. Also no obvious noise coming from the motor
When diagnosing the controller, The only potential problem I've noticed so far is no indication of 5v power, when the hall sensor is plugged in...

I've taken some pictures of the gear further below.

- The controller is a Kunteng KT36, Brushless, sensored type.
- The motor is a standard Brushless 500w motor from eBay
- Testing kit:

Any help is once again really appreciated :D

Hi there - I've had a check and the wires do line up (red / black etc)

Noticed there's no white wire but I believe it's a speed sensor, so shouldn't be the cause?

Incidentally, the plug shown below is only loosely fitted so I could show a photo.. I am making sure it's fully engaged !
