chevy volt & other electric cars

I guess we only have about dozen bricks of lipo to worry about, the national transportation said if any of the electric cars get into an accident, that they have to drain the li-ion batteries, guess there's been some fires.

..any why post about a car in the "E-Bike General Discussion" section ?

Actually GM should promote it as a safety feature ... gas fueled cars usually burn on impact, not 2 weeks later !
Also, is there any less combustible product in a "fully drained" battery, than in a charged one ?..
..after all, its not the electricity that burns !
