I bought a Babang M225 48V 250W MM G341.250.C.13 and a 16Ah Hailong battery. The cable for connecting the battery to the motor has two connectors (picture 1). I received a cable for connecting the battery in the kit and that is fine, but I don't know where to connect the cable to the connector that I circled in blue. I don't know where that connector connects. Thanks.

And if you leave that connector unplugged because there is nothing to plug it in too, does the motor work? That connector is probably communication line and 5v to communicate with a Bafang battery but i suppose your battery has only black and red power wires. The older motors can work without that plug connected so maybe yours too.

Unfortunately, I haven't mounted the motor and battery on the bike yet, precisely because I don't know if the motor and the battery are compatible as stated when purchasing.
