Construction of Electric Chopper

LI-ghtcycle
Thanks thanks
Engine 2.5 kilowatts 52 volts, speed of 55-60 km\h
I make my living from special projects, developments, and exclusive parts.

This is not a museum piece, conversely, I am doing it rough, not shiny.
Built to ride

The only suggestion I can think of is a better motor for such a masterpiece. That is not a bad motor, but it is not up to the quality of the rest of the bike.

Matt

Point is not in the engine,I have a the same motor is already 17,000 kilometers on another unit
Here I think it will last much longer because of the gearbox

Beautiful. I remember first seeing this thread and just stopping. I wasn't thinking about anything but how awesome your machine work is. I have always wanted to see the industrial revolution replaced with the customization revolution, and it looks like it is already happening in your house. Are those machines in your bedroom? Seriously, I wouldn't mind sleeping on a bed of metal shavings if that is what I was producing.

Nice work.

Thank you for such a flattering opinion of my work 8)
And my shop on the balcony

Cool! What does it weigh? (with everything)

Weight is not yet known but I am afraid that went much heavier computational 50kg probably about 60kg :?

That's an easy "problem" solved by a more powerful motor!

I think that your build will be a success either way, but if you're looking for a more powerful motor, there are several on this board who have taken the high-powered E-Bike to an art form to equal the art in your design, and together you can make

something of true beauty, both in a functional practical sense, and artistic sense! 8)

With this engine, in first gear I will have about 180 newton meters at the wheel
I think to me that's enough

If this is rough than I would love to see shiny !

Lebowski

It really made rough parts are not polished and without any coating

Ok, what motor is this?! I want one too!

It is not the case in the motor but in the gearbox,or to be more precise it in gear ratio of the whole system, the motor produces 9 nm, the entrance to the transmission with a gear ratio of 1 to 5, then to the gear box is 1 to 4, and finally transfer to the wheel 1 to 1.3,simple math and get a 140 nm, and it is in rated power, the peak could be twice more but I will limit the current that it had not more than 180 nm in first gear

Ahh ok so what you are talking about is leverage, or mechanical advantage, but the motor produces 9 nm, that sounds more reasonable, I would LOVE a motor that size and that wattage that produced 180 nm! :D

I am very impressed, keep up the good work! 8)

It's looking like your project is getting close to the finish line. I'm looking forward to seeing video of the first ride.

Thanks guys, I just returned from the north from the client, and tomorrow I'll start working on it again

Well I have no camera, I'll take from a friend when I finish
