Hello, dear forum members!
I have the following problem:
On my golf project vehicle I have two motors with 2 controllers from the company Freego Power Company (9 MOSFET, 36V-9M-3600-1) in parallel on one throttle running.
At full throttle the two motors are going automaticly into cruise mode after about 10 seconds and also at half speed it is the same. The cable for the cruise mode is not connected!
To stop running the motors into cruise mode, I have to turn back shortly and then turn up again.
Does anyone have an idea how I could solve this dangerous problem?
LG, Manfred

I have found this in another post, it seems to be a feature of my controllers
Cruise Mode: Automatic Cruise or Manual Cruise. Stabilizing throttle for consecutive 8 seconds enters automatic cruise mode which makes e-bikes run at a const speed once releasing control from throttle
Is it possible to inactivate this feature?

Have you tried e-mailing the place you bought your controller from for a solution to this? This idea does sound pretty insane to me. Does your golf cart not have ebrakes? The most simply solution is to just always assume that the cruise control will activate itself and to tap the brakes when doing any kind of coasting to a stop.

As for programming the controller so this doesn't happen, I don't know.

holding steady throttle for 8 seconds can cause cruise on many controllers. On the range of controllers I use it is blue wires. Two singles from the controller turn on cruise when linked. They are just like the white wires often talked of that control the 25km speed limit. My experience is zero, but talk of white wires is common, so I imagine blue may well be common also. If not blue, then linked wires of some other colour.
