I would like to get some advice on conversion kits. I would like to try building my own e-bike and would like to get some recommendations on conversions kits that I can purchase online and any tips to take note of?

I worked for a living for 3 years, helping kit customers pick the right one for their needs. But I needed a lot of info to even start.

The biggest question was usually not how fast you want to go, but how much do you weigh, and how steep are the hills in your area.

If you weigh 200 pounds or so, and live where its not real mountains, just about any of the cheapest kits out there will do you fine.

But if you live in the steep ass hills of west PA, and want to tow a trailer while you collect scrap metal, its a totally different thing.

So at least give us some minimum info, where you buy it differs if you live in Australia, vs Austria.
