Cyclone 3K Motor with Controller & Motor Frame for Sale

This motor frame is longer than that of the standard Cyclone motor frame. This extra frame length may get higher motor ground clearance when mounting on a bike with an ‘S’ sweeping down tube. The copper elbow is an intake for optional forced air cooling which can make a substantial drop in max motor temperature gain on long hill climbs. I used a Makita 18v blower to force the cooling air.

The motor works fine and has not been above the a 90+ degree C meaning <100C. It has a thermocouple and long wire. I will supply the motor sprocket-freewheel.

Bottom bracket width with can be adjusted in the range 68mm to 73mm. The gear clamps keep the Cyclone motor frame from twisting enough to throw the motor chain.

The Cyclone 3k motor was harnessed to its original (from Cyclone) 40 amp controller. Both the controller and motor are in fine working condition.

The 40 amp working controller is an additional $40 to the cost of the motor/frame offered, the purchase of the controller is optional. You do not get the batteries/lead wires or throttle seen in the above photo.
