My daughter's Daymak montee carlo 72v batteries controller died. We went to Daymak main warehouse in Toronto. They told us that the scooter was 4 years old so there was no more exact replacement parts. However they sold us a replacement controller that "should" work. It was suppose to be the same board. Well the harness is totally different, no labels on the harness and the board is totally different. Even the wires in the harness are bundled different. The voltage that goes to the fob security system is not even the same. Nothing matches.
The original system has a security fob system.
I am a millwright but not a electronic specialist.
I want to rig it in a simpler manner. no security system, with brakes, 3 speed switch, throttle, and 12v step down converter for the headlight and signal lights.
Can someone help me with a cost effective 72v controller with a pin out or wiring harness labels and a 12v step down converter.
Will I need to buy a new throttle?
It would be greatly appreciated for the help. My daughter is very unhappy with me at the moment.
