HAs anyone seen the new Dewalt 36v 4ah battery ? What cells and chemistry do they have inside ?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/DEWALT-DCB360-Heavy-Duty-Battery-Li-Ion/dp/B00HPXNQOM

They look like an interesting battery but the are very expensive in Europe , when will they be released in USA and hopefully cheaper ?

They, or ones much like it are expensive as hell here in the USA. Kobalt and Greenworks are two brands I know of.

Designed for yard stuff, mowers weed whackers, and saws, they have good cells inside, of some kind of limn usually.

Ideal for the guy wanting the flyweight rig, like a 200w hubmotor or a friction drive, that only gets motored for 2-3 miles out of a 30 mile ride.

i think 2/118 is a good price considering the high quality and a 3 year warranty

i have 2 dewalts, and with my 6 makita packs i could go really far, but everything is close by here at the beach.

I think they are 123 lithium batteries, they won't explode when wet.
Still researching them as I want to use them for a longtail trolling motor in a dewalt 995 drill.

These are MacAllister 36v 4ah.they have been on sale at B&Q.£34 with charger.I,am running 2 in parallel. made the adapters from chopping board.Samsung inr 18650 20 r.the chargers are 3.6 - 3.7 Amps.would any one know a way to slow the charger down,to get longer battery life.could I charge 2 with one charger when they are hooked up in parallel.
