Ok, so I got a wally world cheapy (sort of), and am planning on making an e-bike out of it before summer, but I've got a few questions.

First, I'm planning on getting a x5305 and slapping it in the rear wheel. Would the suspension be an issue?

Second, I know i've seen them mounted, but I can't for the life of me find a rear rack for a suspended bike. Is such a thing made, or it is just a "make it work thing" with regular racks?

Finally The front fork is steel, and the upper tubes drop a fair way into the lower tubes. Would it be at all possible to put a motor in that, or would I just be asking to eat pavement when the wheel went and I didn't?

I have that same bike almost. I have a golden motor in my front. An x5 in the front is a no no... use at your own risk with a torque arm at responsible voltages. X5 in a rear configuration with that bike will cause an acceleration squat like in in a super fast high torque car. I use a seat post rack for my batteries. Mines supports up to 40 pounds. But i find that if you dont stiffen/tightn the middle suspension spring when you hit a large bump it can cause the rack to hit the tire... it hits my controller mounted under the rack. Im probably double your size so it may not squat with you.

Full suspension works best with an x5 but you don't want the motor + batteries on the back. Your bike will not handle well at all. Seatpost racks are available cheap but most won't hold that much weight so be careful which one you get. The suspension will work great if you keep it a little stiff. Battery placement is the key to good handling. Place your batteries near the front of the bike and the weight will be spread out over the frame. Mount your controller up high so sand etcc won't hit it and where air can flow over it. If you mount it in a bag it will get hot same is true with batteries if air can flow over them they will last longer. It will not squat much on takeoff unless you have it on the softest setting so don't worry.
