ABV and Sam, nice pics. ABV, that is some serious elevation gain with in 5 minutes. Sweet.

My new place is right by the foothills, tons of single track and 2 track... and rattlesnakes and mountain lions!!

He he. Was waiting for someone to notice the logo on my bike - visual paradigms and all...
:pancake:

Is this fork the updated version of the old RST-R1 forks that are on my SB-178?

I plan to upgrade the stock forks on my SB744.... they are just too springy.... rather bic-pen like no matter how I adjust them.
Perhaps it's my 210lb mass.

SamD - what tires are those? I want some.

The rear is a Shinko SR241 2.75-19 motorcycle wheel conversion. The front is a Felt Bicycles 24x3.00 Bermaster. My dad is running this exact combo on the Bomber.

Think I got my Bomber around page 250 and before I hit the order button I red through every single page.
Poor bastard who needs to go through 500 pages before hitting that button.

I got ordered my Bomber around page 100, and got it around page 120 or so.

I first posted my intent to buy my Fighter way back on page 15....4 1/2 years ago...asking if anyone reckoned Stealth would give me a discount if I asked.
Well I never got a discount...but I did get a bunch of extra tires thrown in, and back then I only paid $6500 AUD + shipping for it...which is a steal compared to what they go for now. 8)

Now, the only original part on my bike from back then is the front wheel, handlebars, stem, seat-post, Schlumpf and cranks....everything else has been swapped out...even the frame.

Cheers

Well that's a little bit sh*t:

Not really surprised, can see how these might appeal to that type of clientele. I sure hope Stealth has insurance.

I remember reading about burglary last time I reviewed the contents insurance. Basically the imbeciles that commit it do so because they know the area well, have usually scoped the site and feel very confident operating there. They may well be known to those at the site. Unfortunately, I would be expecting a return visit.

[EDIT] Post 666! that's ominous!!!

Sounds like they were stolen from a bike shop. I wonder why the alarm didn't go off? Almost sounds like a possible insurance job.

I don't have the details entirely, but I was wondering the same thing about the alarm. If the place did have an alarm, and it wasn't set at closing, that screams inside job.
