Damn Grande Alessagio! You are working with some tight clearances for the phase and sensor wires. For some reason, the other pics didn't really show the issue like the latest one has. Is that a polymer chafing cover on around the phase wires exiting the by the brake?

You mean the white sheath which I then covered with black shrink wrap?
It's a silicon coated glass fiber sheath.
And yes, there is very little space to route the big bunch of wires coming out of QS motor. I removed the spare halls wires set to reduce the bunch of wires and I think with the white piece of plastic around the shaft now the bolts do not rubs on the wires anymore. But anyway I will check often the cables close to the brake disc during the first motor tests.

When will you have it up and running?

Thank you very much to all!
The tyre is on the rim ..... I will try the trial tyre this time.

Hey Allex .... you're not going to come to visit Pisa in the next few days so while you are on holiday you could adjust the controller parameters for this QS motor? :D :D

Bigbore... you can send to me this weekend, I'll pay for postage..... thanks for building these sexy discs for me! hah..... looks lovely.

I think it was mentioned in another thread that the QS205 wont work with the dropouts on the Flux. Rix can you confirm?

Which one do you like more? And especially which one for street riding?

I guess for street I will like more the stock 5403 with a trial tyre on it.
But for the moment I do not know because what I have done so far is tried to adjust the Angle correction and Ind timing with the wheel off the ground. Being the first time I made this stuff I don't know if there are margins of improvements. I will try to ride at 15Km for some km, record the motor temp, change the Angle correction and repeat from the beginning.
Then for Ind timing I will do the same at a speed of about 50Km/h and keep going until I get the lowest possible motor temp.
Then PWR timing ....
.... yes  it's hard to be a pro :D

This is the very first ride I made this morning with the new QS205. I lowered the BOOST mode at 140 bat Amps and 280 phase Amps and the motor reached the temperature of 60°C doing a short WOT from about 20Km/h .... I hope to improve the situation :?

This is what the Bomber looks like with QS 205:

And this is how I managed to route the phase wires to avoid rubbing on V-boxx gear selector sheath

BIGWIRES. I noticed you were fairly conservative keeping your speed under 80km/h. When are you going to start twisting the throttle hard and seeing what this new motor has?

Quigley Motorsports - UPDATE

Stealth contacted him and he said he would contact reach out to the customers that he is holding their money since Nov last year.

I have heard nothing.

I've sent him email, msg through his website, and msg through facebook. And nothing.

I'm going to give the local police a ring and get this off center.

Only reason I'm posting this is to help the community avoid getting scammed like it did.

AVOID QUIGLEY MOTORSPORTS. Please pass this on to the Stealth community, face-book, etc.....

I'm not talking about $50 us either.. this is over $1000 USD.

====================
Dear South Australia Police,

I am writing you in hopes I can get some help with a matter of a purchase I made over the internet with a business called Quigley Motorsports in Nov 2015.

Per attached reciepts (paypal) i've made 2 payments late last year, and seller has stopped contact with me, and has failed to deliver the goods.

The business is Quigley Motorsports.
Link below:

Quigley Motorsport strives to provide the highest qualtiy products and service.

11/21/15 - I sent $1069 AUS
Quigley said I needed to send add'l payment for shipping, so on
11/25/15 - I sent $412.30 AUS for shipping.

The items purchased from his website are:
1 x Quigley Motorsport Gen 2.1 kickstand assembly,
1 x Quigley Motorsport mudguard assembly,
1 x Stealth workshop stand and
1 x Stealth key ring thank you. Calculated freight including international tracking (2 packages) is $322.30AU (approx 231.25US).

Since I paid through paypal, I disputed the payment of $1069 AUS in early Jan.... but Lincoln Quigley contacted me as said to release his funds and he would send the product.... I trusted him, cancelled the claim, and I have not heard from him since. Now paypal says tough luck... once you make a claim and then close it.. there is no further recourse through paypal.

There is another US buyer in this situation as well. I can submit his information if needed for reference..
He has since put in a claim with paypal... and I suspect he will get his money back via paypal.....

Wish me luck on this INT"L refund hunt.
........

back to your normally scheduled program :)

I wonder what is going on with QMS? For years he was doing legitimate business and making kick ass bolt on products for Stealth. Normally a shop doesn't go to shit overnight, I really wonder whats going on?
