E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Even if you ticked every box on that list you would only get 10% off, not the full 2500 dollars unless the bike was 25,000

Wiping your ass with $1,000 bills huh? Must be nice. :pancake:

Actually about 750 max.....and yeah, 1000 bucks doesn't really motivate me one way or another, hence I spent £7,500 on a hobby bike Stealth

When it comes to building batteries what about these cells. A friend of mine just bought a hole bunch of these for his electric car. He bought the model T85188236. But The batteries model T8592232 (See list in their web page) should fit nicely inside the frame of both the Stealth Bomber and the Fighter. And these are rated 20 Ah pr cell with a max discharge rate at 60 A Quite impressive their size considered. Does anybody have any comments on these battery cells ? See web page for info. But i have not found the optimum cells for getting a descent Ah size on the batteries. Considering you need at least 20 - 40 cells in a battery pack. See what you guys can come up with.

Dont wasting ur time looking at lifepo4 cells, old news, best to get 18650 30q cells or sanyo 18650GA cells

Can anyone tell me the best way to source a lighter than shock spring for a B-52 in Oz preferably but Siberia will do!

Any advice on spring rates would be appreciated also - 85kg rider.

Cheers

Your going to have to get one wound. I used Canon Racecraft in the US but I'm sure there is a place around that makes em in that side of the world. As far as spring weight its a bit subjective. Im currently running a 450 straight rate. (750 was original). When it was 750 I though my back was gonna break. I put a 550 in it and had next to no preload much better…So then I went to 450 way better now. (I'm 165lbs w/o gear) I also beat the living hell out of my bomber 99% dirt….Riding style is going to play a part as well..

You can get a progressive wind as well. That big ass boat anchor of a motor on the rear end plays havoc with suspension.. Just remember its never gonna handle or feel like a mid drive or dirtbike. The motor is just way too heavy..

hope this helps!

Thanks for that. If I was to order one from canon racecraft can you tell me what exactly I would be asking for?

Hi,
I bought one from Cannon and it's heaps better.
600-680 progressive and I am 95Kg.
I am also in Aus.
I am not sure if there is anyone here that will do custom springs. I know my local bike suspension specialist buys his custom springs from Cannon. I also had him revalve my shock and that also improved its performance.
You will have to measure the spring and give them the dimensions. Internal diameter, external diameter and length.
Cheers

I'd hunt around on eBay for a 600 lbs/in spring for a pit-bike. On your old/stiff spring, measure the length overall and ID to compare.

Here is one. Throw the budget shock in the bin. Use the spring. http://r.ebay.com/EwTFcD

Ditto all of this. I had mine re-valved to a 3 stage and lighter spring and its wayyy better. My suspension guy mentioned that the internals of the shock are a good copy of an Elka. I think with a re-sping and valve you would be very happy with it. The nitrogen levels from the factory are all over the place so yours may not have enough as well.
dimentions of spring= 45 ID, 67 OD x 162. I would double check, mine is an earlier cav3 Bomber. I think they are the same. You probably want to let them know if you want straight rate or progressive.

That little switch back section where the single track trail disappears is "a push the bike up only" Kinda trail... Just like the camera adds 10lbs it drops about 20 degrees from a trail

Weeeell... Ive got two of your bikes and $750 dollars still motivates me plenty. In fact there is no limit to my frugality. If Im doing 50 mph and I see a dollar on the road Im stopping, turning around and picking that shit up.

Yesterday I had a very beautiful morning trip at the beach on deep and hard packed sand. My present setup with QS 205 30*4T and 10ml of Statorade is super torquey and hold the power at low speed for pretty long time. I found out that Maxxis Maxcross motocross tyre is a must on sand and lose staff; I can't do the same with Vee Rubber VRM 021 trial tyre.
I have the video of the ride but I need to find the time to look at it and then upload.
Here is the stats screen:

I helped a lot the motor by pedaling as hard as I was able .... what a workout

This is the video:

Bravo Simone! Buona esercizio! Mio fratello Italiano ha adetto, "parlare di meno, aleno di piu". So when you were pedal assisting in the deep sand, were you so tired you couldn't speak? I know thats a lot of work. Great video. Maybe this should be a "crossfit" movement?

Good for you.

Hey fellas,
Do any of you guys have an original spare throttle that you would want to sell? PTHE labeled one? I have recently bought one from stealth (the cable is not long enough) and also from electric rider and both of them do not work the same as the original.
They seem to have a dead spot before they start. so the fist 1/8 turn of the throttle does nothing.

What I have done:
Setting the Min throttle out from .49all the way up to 3.49…. does not change anything. The dead spot is still there.
Tried to find the diagnostic display to get the throttle in at rest and WOT of the new throttles (which I can't seem to locate) when I go though the menu the diagnostic display is not there.

If anyone has any thoughts or an original throttle let a brutha know!!

Yeah I was thinking of that but I want to try and do it the programming route before having to physically mod the throttle..
