I got no plan par se, I'm just trying to understand how the system works. I hate not knowing very much about it.

Looks like you came close anyway :lol:Rodney64 said:When I discussed it with Hugh I wanted an easy trail. Didn't want to fall off his bike.
That's a better way to look at it, when I do it I've been telling myself it's ambition exceeding ability :lol:Rix said:I noticed at 1:21, you overshot the corner, if I had a dollar for everytime I did that, I would be able to fill the Bomber compartment with dollar bills. When I see a rider do that, it tells me he/she is riding fast enough. If you never make a mistake, and don't over shoot a corner, something like that, then you are riding too slow

Great trails, I need to find an excuse for work to send me over there! I have a conference in August I could probably attend but it's in Queenstown and I imagine it'd be largely snowed in ?

But yes, I only ever do it when I'm going flat out
I got quotes etc for a custom paint job on my Fighter . The spray painter said the price included sand blasting . So yer I was gunna suggest sand blasting .Hyena said:On an unrelated note, has anyone stripped back the stock powder coat on their stealths and if so how easily did it come off ? I'm in the process of rebuilding mine and want to strip and recoat it to make it like new again (lots of stone chips and a minor dent in the neck from my last big crash) but a local bloke I spoke to seems to thing stripping the existing coat off will be tough. He may have just not wanted the job though as everything seemed to be an effort for him...

Nice bike, but it's missing something. Something hanging from the handle bars. I can't quite think what it is.
Hyena said:Thanks for the powdercoat tips guys. I think I'll just get it sandblasted. I imagine using a torch on it could get messy plus it might cause distortion on the thin sheet parts. The blaster I spoke to said the powder coat would stick better too with a slightly roughed up surface from the powdercoat. Sounds about right.
Speaking of sandblasting, wow Rix that's a huge storm!
Did you actually take a beating from it or manage to stay ahead of it ?
I meant to ask you too, how are you finding pedalling around on the fighter ? Obviously it's lighter than the bomber but how are you finding having just the 2 speeds of the schlumpf vs the vboxx ?
Athaneco said:Hi ,
i have the latest version of a bomber. i have a technical question. the rear wheel of the bike is stuck (it is not the brake). not moving forward nor backwards(not at all). It is as if the rear brake is pressed, but it is not. Switching the bike on or off does not make a difference. Opening the throttle makes the wheel spin, but if i close the throttle the wheel stalls again suddenly.
Any ideas what that is?
