I have a controllador Ecrazyman EB306 (36V/350W) and I nead some help with it.
I need to change the cut-off voltage of the controller. Currently it is 31.5V but I need it to be 30V. This is due to using the 8s lipo batteries configuration.
I just find information about these mod to the ancien circuit boards and I have a little difficulty in identifying where to mod without burning the board.
Will someone help me?
Below are some detail photos.
Is it one of the his programmable ones? If so you just need to get hold of a programming cable and you can change the LVC and other settings without lifting your soldering iron (assuming you already have a programming cable connected to the board)
Yes Marshy thanks, I think that is a way ... but when I ordered the controller I did not ordered the programmer cable... and now have to solder some wires on the board and buy the USB cable interface in orde to program. Can be done ... but I do not plan to make big changes to the parameters of the controller, a resistance change at this time is easier and inexpensive compared to prepare the controllador for programming, I think...
The easiest mod is going to be to add the programming lead and use the software to set the LVC. I have some of those boards, they work sensored or sensorless depending on if you have the halls connected and what you have it programmed for. I haven't gotten around to playing with mine yet too many other projects and high power controllers to build / play with
It's so nice to be able to program your controllers, spend the money for the USB interface and programming lead.
I believe modding R12 will change the LVC as well as everything else that has programmable voltage. It's a common mod done to run higher voltage.
I think that you guys are right!! I'll try to buy parts and assemble the necessary programming system. I already bought a USB dongle on eBay which should arrive in less than 25 days or so ... I hope ...
I’m using the following post for mounting the dongle in the bord:
Have managed to get the software running in my computer, however I have two questions, first I cannot choose my controller, EB306, the closest is the EB206... should I choose this one? Are they the same thing as far as the programming software? On the other hand I do not have the original parameters of this controller ... Can anyone send them to me since for now I don’t want to change the majority of the parameters for now. Can anyone help?
