i'm looking for a front low power motor for a 700c and found this one
MOutrider_Std Standard RPM Small Geared Front Hub Motor not a lot of info about think its new
and the Bafang 'Jewel'
would like to hear about them both or others
looked at q100 lots of info on this one already but the service from the seller is shocking so would
rather donate my funds to a honest seller here.
cheers paul

Never heard of the bafang jewel..
The ebikes.ca simulator can tell you a lot about their "outrider motor" though.

My guess is that these motors are both similar - small geared hubs designed with going 15-20mph, no more.

The Bafang Jewell is the QSWXK5.
Don''t believe all you hear about BMSBattery.
You can get the Q100 also from greenbikekit.com and Elifebike .com. They call it something else.

The choice of these small motors normally depends on the speed you want. 201 rpm is about 15mph in a 26" wheel. 250rppm is about the maximum that you could use in a 700c wheel considering the power to maintain that speed. If you're a sports cyclist and like to pedal hard, you could go higher rpm.

The standard rpm Outrider motor you mentioned is 312 rpm with a 36v battery, which I think is too high for a 700c wheel.
