Electric Bike Company Model S Battery issue

I have a Electric Bike Company Model S bike that will not turn on.
When it was charged the battery was turned on when the pull out cord was used to plug in and charge the battery.
I know this is a no-no, but it happened so I am try to see if there is anything I can do to wake up the battery.
Any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I have been quoted battery diagnostic at $149 and new battery at $599.
Looking for a better option.

Can you post some photos of the battery and the controller? Have you checked, if there is a fuse somewhere?
EBC seems to be bankrupt, but they used quite generic parts, so it should be no problem to fix your problem.
