electric bikers in Santa Cruz, CA

Hi, I'm new to the forum and new to electric bikes. I'm working on building one this summer, and was hoping to find some local folks to meet up with, ride with etc. Anyone on the forum in the coastal central CA area interested in getting together?

Don't know about your area, but lately I find myself checking out every cyclist I see, just in case its an E bike! So far I've came up zero but that will change.
