i have a vintage "MIYATA Goodluck VG-348", it is pedal assist, with brushed DC motor, the battery is 24-volts @ 7200mAH can you possibbly help me where to find the motor controller..
thanks...

How about this one on aliexpress? All the connectors are labelled in the picture in English, and probably in chinese on the controller. No pedal assist though. Expects a throttle.

Currie made brushed controllers that had pedal assist years ago, but you will have to look somewhere for a used one,

Nothing wrong with a throttle and pedaling on a bike though, unless throttles are illegal where you live,

What's the old controller look like? Googling the bike, it appears to be a mid drive (sometimes mid drives have the controller integrated into the motor housing).

Are you trying to find out where on the bike the controller is?

Or are you trying to find a replacement controller?

Or something else entirely?

Hi,
here are the photos of my MIYATA, VG-438 (Correction from my previous post) the controller is positioned oposite end of the motor (imbedded inside rigid alluminum heatsink

I see a black and a red wire. Are there only two wires going to motor? Then it is a brushed motor as you describe,
