Yes, I remember that. I remember thinking "he wants to get as many struts and joints into the design as possible"; similar reaction to spinningmagnets, I guess. Similar objection to the Rolhoff gearbox: "too many parts - too expensive to machine" but fine as a Thesis, I suppose.

A nice custom trike project. Currently powered by SLA batteries which are housed in the two plastic boxes but soon to be replaced by LiFePO4.
