Em3v Tiger shark battery intermittent output.

Its a discountined one with the high capacity cells giving 14.5ah from the smaller case and one less P of batteries than usual.

I took it apart and waggled all the lines, it started working..I guessing it was the fuse connections..as you can see in this vid.

Anyone had this happen or is this leading me astray.

Also this is an 8amp charge battery but the charging point has 4 other tiny connectors that are not wired up in the lead I have.

My charger has four pins and only two are used. It's to stop it from being plugged in wrong. If there is three wires, it would have a data pin.

Theres actually six.
Two large for charging and four smaller ones.

Very odd.

Was there any chance of (salt)water intrusion? It seems unusual that you'd need to scrape corrosion off the fuse terminals when it's all sealed up in the case. But if that corrected the problem, maybe it's all good now.

re ; blade fuse connection in Em3ev battery . I had this intermittent operation too with Em3ev battery , then total stop. 40 amp blade fuse not blown , plastic on fuse and holder had no signs of heat. Blades had score marks and dark surface. Contacts inside fuse holder looked fine. Found a name for this affect at the time, but can't find it now. Looked for a new 40 amp blade fuse and nothing available that small. The big 40 Amp fuse and holder would not fit inside the battery. So I cleaned the fuse blades and coated them with https://www.gardnerbender.com/en/p/OX-100B/Ox-Gard-Anti-Oxidant-Compound# . No more trouble so far , after several years and many cycles.
