equal opposite force engine

Hi Hal, DaS,

Please forgive my naivete, as I have no training in engineering or science.

I am also interested in the smaller systems for pumping/generation. My impression is that the lower temperature/pressure systems could provide energy and irrigation to areas of great need.

If I understand correctly, the heart of the technology is the DaS valve. Getting the valve technology communicated to developers seems paramount to expanding its open-community.

This "looks good on paper"... It might be helpful to build a model for demonstration, using transparent pipe and compressed-air (rather than steam). I also imagine an alternative demonstration could be made planar: with milled passages sealed by transparent plastic cover. In other words, something you might see in a science-center for the young: Exploratorium, Ontario Science Center, Scienceworks Museum, etc.

I've seen some energy hokum at MakerFaire that could make you puke, but a working DaS model could get some traction.

Hello Both,

In answer to your questions.

External heat harvest maximum of +100* C -10,000 bar pressure.
Minimum heat -10* Celsius 9 bar pressure.

Heat sink, absorbing cooling heat wraps stroke pipe, recycling heat.

Lower heat lower pump bar pressure, lower wattage output.

Size. Stroke cylinder 1 lire, turbine 1 litre. 1 cubic metre box habitat.

Not in in drawing, attachment provides full equal opposite force exploitation doubling the energy extraction from heat harvest.

Fully modelled, fully working, drawing is of repaired demonstrator, sight tubing etc. Learnt Aluminium wont take naked flame.

Compressed air now in place of heated gas reaction.

All assistance to whom may wish to copy.

Hello Harold in CR ,

This may be more what your looking for.

May I suggest you pump up to dam. and then drain back to Pelton or Turgo turbine.

No turbine on pump up allows puming at lower temperature as pressure does not have to overcome uphill and turbine resistance.

Hello People,

Posting to update on work. Hve taken pulse out of working system by inclusion of pressure tank.

Hello People,

Firstly my appologies for not posting full diagram, then still learning computer skills and accessories. Then losing hard drive and only now refinding the site.
I also like to thank all those who replied.

The full layout of the Open Technology can be obtained from the folowing site.

Hi Peter,

Your work has not gone forgotten... I have too much on my plate now, but hope at some point to build a concentrated-solar prototype.

Same here. I'm up to my eyeballs with builds and maintenance stuff.

Sorry people attachment not working. Equal opposite force engine.
Please see instead.

Hello Harold in CR,

Appologies, I not have turn on replies. Then to add to the insult I blew a hard drive.

I can understand your possition. The DaS Valve come about in similiar curcumstance.

The valve itself is extremely simple. It begins with a verticle pipe full of a liquid that will boil off to gas at a low temperature.

Applying heat to the pipe boils the liquid inside to gas. Gas rises in liquid, so the gas heads to the top of the pipe but cant get out. So it starts pushing the liquid down and out through a hydro turbine.

The gas build up in the vertical pipe becomes so great all the liquid is forced from the pipe.

The gas, having driven all the liquid from the pipe, then follows on behind it.

The gas, following on behind the liquid, comes to point where it be under the opening of another vertical pipe filled with liquid. Gas being gas now shoots up that pipe but instead of being blocked as in the first pipe, the arrival of the gas at pipe head leaves no liquid seating for the ball blocker to float on and therefore ceases to seal the hole in the top of the pipe.

There now being nothing to block the hole ,all the gas escapes.

One the gas pressure has been lost liquid flows back in filling all the pipes again and seeing the ball blocker floated back into place.

However when filling a capped pipe from the bottom a pocket of gas is trapped in the pipe head. To prevent this from happening is the reason for the timing pipe. This pipe is the last to fill with liquid and does so only after all pipes are full of liquid. When the timing pipe is full of liquid there then be enough liquid to float the ball blocker sealing off the pipe head.

When the system is completely recharged, the heating of the liquid becomes the actions for a second time.

I have given up on Photobucket, attachments disappear.

You will note this system works with a pulse, occurring due to the heat up time each refill of the pipes with liquid.

The simpliest of liquid turbine is a car water pump without the fan.

One other thing, after constructing and filling with liquid, suck on exit point till you feel an internal give. I think it is trapped gas which occurs at first filling but does not return. Unless this draw out occurs the system will run erratic.

Follow the drawing, ther are no measurements other than the pipe with the ball blocker must be longer than the one without. When the ball blocker is in place in the pipe, it should be up higher than the other pipe head. The timing pipe must be conveted on the outside not internal, or the system runs erratic. Lenthening and shortening the timer pipe see the ball blocker deop open at the most appropiate moment.

Cheers Peter
