Yep, post 'em up here

Is Zeropress the Knowledgebase button I see at top of forum? I typed Zeropress into Google and it seems to be some type of press to make coffee.

Click on Knowledgebase button. It asked for user name and password. I tried same ones I use to log in to endless-sphere forum. Must have made the button angry because now it goes to a window that says.

Yep, it's not launched yet; not a bug.
Renamed title to ES Knowledgebase for more clarity

Successful people view failure as a learning and growing opportunity.

With that being said, the knowledgebase is launched and i look forward to the forum's bug reports and feedback!

I see the category Motor Terminology. Does that imply that there might be a terminology category for other ebike/EV stuff? Or have a Terminology section, with separate subsections?
Something related that I was thinking about for my FAQ is how currently I have some definition type stuff all over, and the Chinglish to English dictionary section at the bottom, which really only applies to controllers or wiring diagrams right now, and how to reformat that info.
The idea was triggered by a post I saw by Fechter a couple of days ago where he says “Hall sensor wires are usually marked U, V, W along with a 5v and ground”. I found that useful, and never really thought about it, even considering the number of questions I see regarding controller circuit boards, etc. Now I’m picturing a matrix, to replace the dictionary with the controller’s feature (e.g. PAS), a short definition, the Chinglish terms, and the circuit board alpha numerical designations, then work on collecting that data.
I guess that could be part of controller terminology, or could be a tool for a controller modding, or something else.
Anyway, lately I’ve been reformatting and reorganizing trying to think of how info can be formatted and organized so the info for typical problems can be viewed without searching/scrolling too much. I sort of test it, as I see questions posted, I try to see how easy it is to find the related info in the FAQ.
It might be interesting to poll the members on the top 10 questions or problems the forum receives, or if there were some way to monitor trends.

That's an article, not a category. We should improve our file/folder icons so that's more evident!
I think the motor section deserves that because there's a decent amount to know about motor terms.

What you're talking about seems like good content for a Controller Terminology article, i added a stub.
Chinglish notes would be helpful there!
Side note, did you know that those big blocky conectors for hall sensors that came on infineons are called 'white head'? 😅

Top 10 questions? i think we could figure out that organically among people who answer questions a lot w/o having to ask.. the data's already there :)

Your newbie faq thread looks like a great basis for some 101 articles BTW!

amberwolf provided someone with a link to a place with tons of connectors a week or two back. I forgot to bookmark it, but that seemed like a pretty good link. Grins connector section is good, but just the tip of the iceberg.
Random question. Does the current system support using the @ symbol combined with the username in a thread, to ping the user?

What does the notification look like? i swear i've seen it before but people use it so rarely.
@E-HP

Cool, it works!
