Would you like to be a Knowledgebase editor?

What we're looking for:
- The person is trusted in the community already ( IE not here to spam us )
- The person can write at the high school level ( if not, can tolerate having their grammar and spelling nitpicked to death )
- The person has good knowledge of some aspect of EV DIY, or is at least good at copying and pasting more knowledgeable people's thoughts into articles :)

If you'd like to be an editor, please answer these 3 questions in this thread:

[ ] What you know a lot about/want to write about?
[ ] Have you done professional/technical writing before?
[ ] Link to something you've written on the forum or elsewhere ( technical/professional/hobbyist writing outside of the topic is ok )

If you make the cut ( you probably will ), we will give you access to edit capabilities our knowledgebase system.

1. Primarily the VESC hardware/software ecosystem, and to lesser degree, bits and pieces of hard-won knowledge
to improve the KB where appropriate.

2. Not really, mostly here on ES, this is an opportunity to step up my game.

3. Threads I have started on ES:

I'll be an editor too.

I plan to contribute:
- Folder structure / initial outline for the KB
- Everything i know about running BMS-less batteries
- Proofreading/formatting improvements

I'd like to edit, but may not have enough time for a couple of months - I'm moving.

I am also here to learn, and don't have broad knowledge yet. I do have some good engineering background - both aerospace and also software quality control.

My sig provides links to some of my writing about my vehicles, particularly my current ride. I'm very interested in expanding that machine into a camping system, but I'm at the start of that process.

Hey we're in no rush to fill the knowledgebase, sign up now, contribute a year later? i'm happy!

Hi Neptonix, we were discussing the idea of adding lists of kits to fit specific general goals & budgets.

[ ] What you know a lot about/want to write about?

I sell and do (minor) service on ebikes (I don't repair batteries or circuit boards), so I am in touch with consumers price sensitivity. I am also an enthusiast and have some finished custom bikes I've repaired and sold, and an upgrade project currently in planning stages.

[ ] Have you done professional/technical writing before?

No, but I have a bachelors degree in Communications.

[ ] Link to something you've written on the forum or elsewhere ( technical/professional/hobbyist writing outside of the topic is ok )

Hey fellas.

We are still looking for volunteers for knowledgebase article editing + creation.
So far we have no content except a couple intro articles from me, plus some outlines ( marked as stub ) to hopefully prompt someone to pick up the torch on that article.

My business is entering the busy season and i may not have time to contribute more content until fall.

We could really use your help building this knowledgebase. There's no way i could do it alone!

Can the comments area in the KB sections be used to add info for the KB editor to consider and to determine whether it is worthy of adding to the section?

Absolutely, that's what they're for.. for feedback to help shape the article.
