Hey fellow e-cyclists,
After a week of diving down the rabbit hole of e-MTB research, I finally took the plunge and got myself a VelectriX Ascent Pulse X 29 with a Bafang M410 motor (250W, 95Nm) and the C11 LCD display.
Now I find myself researching eggrider to speedbox. I don't ride on the road and quite nervous in doing so, it will mostly be used on private dirt trails all flat and off-road and I'm quite a stocky build and new to the e-bike world but I'm unclear how to change the 25km/h limit the most easiest way even by 10km/h would be great. I am finding myself pedalling faster than 25 km/h, like all the time
My family own around 20,000km of private farm land including river, don't get me wrong its easy to get on a quad bike and survey but also need to pedalling and get some exercise too.
To be honest, I’m a complete noob at this. I haven't touched a bike seriously since I was a kid, but I’m itching to get back into cycling with this modern tech. I just don’t want to screw up my shiny new toy before I even get to enjoy it. I do not live in the city or have access to people that could help.
Would be keen to hear any recommendations! And if you can throw in some beginner-friendly instructions, I'll be eternally grateful.
Could I just update the display from the bafang C11 to a bafang DPC18 display aftermarket and then it will be fine?
