That is what I did, but without the epoxy. I used the prop mounting hardware that came with the motor. The only problem with a muffin/computer fan is that you don't get a choice on which way it moves air. Your motor direction will determine if it blows or sucks. For a given motor direction, you have to change the twist of the blades to change the direction of the air flow. They are a bit brittle and won't take much of a knock.
