34 miles with pedaling at 20mph. wo ho !!! :D

i got saddle sore riding round for that long! my legs ache too

i think i may have pedaled more that i usually do because i subconsciously wanted to get a good number.

i have 2x 36v, 8ah of NiCd in the pannier bag, 48v of NiMH in the back and 24v of NiMH in the original battery box. so that makes 60s2p for 72v 14ah.

i don't always roll with that tho, its only for long trips. most of the time my boot is empty apart from bike locks.

What do you think your top speed was roughly, average speed? I have a couple of 36v nicad packs and a couple of 24v packs as well. It must be a tad heavy with that much battery!

Yer it is heavy. but my usual commute is 7 mile round trip so i usually have half the weight. you don't really notice the weight when riding, only when you have to lift it up steps! average speed was probably 20mph max speed was probably 30mph -i didn't zero my speedometer so i don't know the trip specific data.

i don't really know how to use my speedometer

i know its accurate though because i counted the "laps" and measured the distance on multimap and the total trip distance matched the difference on the speedometer.
